I noticed a small imperfection on the fluxo-system in your first picture, so I need you to bring that boat to my Columbus workshop so I can make the proper adjustments to it in time for Christmas. So grab a cup of coffee and drive it on over. ;) I should have it ready for you in a year or 2 .....

Sweet ride .... I can see you smile from here! Congrats!

Thanks for the responses guys! I have to thank [email protected] for his advice on buying this one.
I missed my '94 Prostar so this should fill the void, plus I like the fact that only 25 were made.

LT-1 with 722 hours, 1:1 trans, hot water shower, barefoot boom included.

I will be replacing those braided hoses with black mastercraft hoses and painting those manifolds black just like from the factory.

Change the Exhaust manifolds to the new EXT Ones from Indmar...there is a increase in performance!!!

We did one this past year on Dave Stocks PROTOUR 190 w/ the LT-1 SLOT

Beautiful boat! Don't trust that spare tire though, I have had bad luck with those - worse than the Marathons!

It looks like those manifolds have been jet coated (http://www.jet-hot.com/). Rust free inside and out for life! I understand painting them black to keep her looking like day 1. Nice knowing they will never have to be replaced.

Good point about the manifolds being jet-coated. I may have to leave them alone.

One tire had a belt seperation on the way home but I changed it before she blew (I took 2 spares with me)
Tires are 215/70R15.....I'm replacing all 4 in the spring. I was surprised a tandem axle trailer has 15" wheels, my X-star has 14".

Be sure to go with ST trailer tires when the time comes to replace. It does seem odd to have 15" tires on a tandem axle trailer. Perhaps they were replaced at some point.

That's the most likely scenario. The new models don't come with 15's, so hard to imagine that a '93 did.

Good idea...the Radial TA's are good car tires but are horrible trailer tires. My buddy tired them on his boat trailer once and that was a horrible decision.

I agree with Peter 100% - go with ST tires on your trailer.

My only question is... you have to decide where you will be sitting for the whole outing or be limber enough to scoot under the spolier? what is that thing called on the boat... and can it support a wakeboard spindle - can you mount speakers on it?

Dave, I am jealous and agree it was worth the drive. It puts my 93 stars and stripes down a notch. We need to get together next summer and get pics of them together. Maybe we can find some other 93 owners and particularly a red stars and stripes and get pics. I coming to Jersey in the spring/summer to see that beauty. I am surprised these models were not all powerslots. However, the 1:1 will help with barefooting speeds.

The safe t top should have a net in it to catch handles that may be shot at the boat. Had to put one on our stars and stripes growing up after a driver got hit and knock out by one. Not neccessary for most people. These days we have plastic caps from the hardware up the street filling the holes. The top is not structurally strong, so you can't really lean on it or attach things to it. Makes it a pain to move around, thus many have the nets removed. Easy to put back on if the need arises. I come from a family of big people and we needed it for the flying handles when someone would not be able to hang on after loading the line in the course. They do look pretty sweet though.
That is a beautiful boat! Congrats.

Wow, one of my all time favorite boats right there. Nice to see a few interior pics. Love the colors, so cool!
Yeah, my Safe T Top is also hanging in my shed. Looks cool but it is a pain to get around it. And previous poster is right, it does not support too much weight. Mine has a few stress cracks from occasionally sitting on it.
Gotta say it again, that boat is AWESOME!

Your 93 Stars & Stripes down a notch? I don't think so, your boat is beautiful (as all 25th anniversary S&S Prostars are.)
And yes we will have to get them together for some pics next summer. I'd be willing to launch at the Nauti Goose in Northeast and run around that area!
Anyone on here have a red one near MD or NJ? (I know [email protected] brother in law has one up near 1000 Islands NY)

Hey Jerseydave,

Congrats...beautiful boat!!!!!!!!!!

I also have a '93 with an LT1....about as good a skiboat as there has ever been!

I noticed in your photo of the engine that it appears that the vent tube from the heads is in the original location on the back of the engine (as was mine).

This allowed some boats to overheat (due to steam collecting at the front of the heads). There was a service bulletin explaining a fix, and later LT1s had this corrected from the facory.

There was a lengthy thread on here a while ago discussing this in great detail. Here is a link:

http://mastercraft.com/teamtalk/showthread.php?t=31626&highlight=lt-1

Anyhow, it is an easy fix....and will help keep the temps down.

You are going to love that boat!!!!!!

Just saw the thread Dave, awesome boat. I am sure you will feel right at home with her. Your old 94 is still kicking strong as ever, just about to break 1100 hours.

Even though your new 25th and my 94 ski the same, I am jealous, great buy.

I see you got this out of Arkansas. Did you get it from David McCrosky? There were three of the twenty five built in Arkansas at one time all friends of mine. I guess there are two in Arkansas now and they are next door to each other on Greers Ferry Lake!

I just noticed the AR sticker as well, looks like it got delivered in Conway? Anyway, guess there are only two across the lake now. If that boat was owned by Mark Redman early on, then yes those manifolds are Jet Hot Coated(I helped put them on) and I made that custom knob on the throttle. Somehow, #17 sticks in my mind but that was a long time ago, Mark bought it from a guy in Tulsa who was the original owner - if it's the same boat as I recall Mark sold it to a McCrosky or McClusky

I cannot seem to find what number this boat is (there is no number plate that I can find on it)
And yes I picked it up in Conway, Dave met me at the MC dealer there.

A couple newer pics after polishing, new decals, safe-t-top removed, etc.

Does the boat still have the Code 5 push button starter in it? I have one and it goofed up last month, took it all apart, cleaned all the electrical connections and it works like a champ again.

Keyless ignition, yes. Sometimes after starting it stalls and I have to enter the code again to get it re-started. Maybe my keyless ignition switch has dirty contacts too?
So was Mark Redmond the original owner I wonder?
Still wish I could verify what number this boat is. I'll keep looking for a number plate.

From what I recall, orig owner was from Tulsa. He went on vacation in the winter, Tulsa lost power and his heated garage was frozen, as did the LT1. Mastercraft put a new engine in because the freeze plugs did not pop, due to Indmar great black paint! Mark bought it in early 94, we put the manifolds on before the big Dallas MC get together, Mark placed first and me second in Prostar division. He then sold the boat, as he was being transferred to Pensacola(air force).
