I have an 89 tristar 190. I usually tow about 3 ski biscuits and rarely single ski.
I'm looking to get out of the hole quicker and to have more trottle control during whips than I currently have.

Am running 351 Indmar FNR 1:1 to a 13 x 13 x 3bl prop.

Am wanting to move to a 4 bl prop. Can anyone recommend a more suitable prop spec

I have the same setup, eric got me a 13 X 13 LC 1" 4-blade, which gave better take off and now maintains speed in the turns.

I would think seriously about the Acme 541. It is still a 3 blade but after testing 5 other props is still my favorite for hole shot, top speed and speed holding ability.

There are soany factors n options with props these days. It's best to contact the pros either Eric at oj or someone at Acme. U will find that some Acme 3 blades have more surface area than a 4 blade and do the job much better on certain boats. So 4 blades isn't always the answer. Fig I throw that out there just in case u do get a couple 3 blade recs from a company.

I upgraded my TriStar to a CNC'd 4-blade Michigan Ambush 13 x 13. Performance diff was noticeable.
