Great looking boat. Don't see any snow in the pics, surely you could get out for a quick tow.

Congrats! Nice looking X-1. My buddy had an '06 and the wakeboard wake was great.

His ballast setup (in case you want to know)

a. remove rear hard tanks, replace with 400's (or 750's)
b. install sac in ski locker
c. 750# sac in walkway
d. another 400# sac across that 750 in bow (optional)

= great wake!

Thanks, I think I'll get used to this wake first, I've been spending the majority of my time behind a pontoon boat, so I've really stepped up my game!!:headbang: do you think I should invest in a helmet?

Invest in a helmet for sure!! Gives you some security to be a little more agressive. I knocked myself out just crossing the wake once. It sucked and I have worn a helmet ever since. I am sure you will get both sides to the argument. Great looking boat BTW.

Helmets sometimes help, sometimes not. I know 2 guys that got concussions wearing a helmet but then again some riders have taken a board smack to the head where a helmet would have been a good idea.

Some helmets have ear protectors too. I blew out an ear drum this summer hitting the water hard. Wore a helmet for rest if season (with plugs and ear protector).

Congrats...I'll probably always have a slalom boat, but the wakeboard boats are great. Tons of space, and of course, being an MC its even better!!

Nice boat. Mine is pretty much the same, but Navy Blue. I know how you feel about a long winter. Picked up my 07 X1 in January of this year, made for a long 3 months. Then pretty much every day in May was 20 plus mph winds.

We had a great time this summer with the boat. Got out last weekend for some surfing. Hopefully I'll get out a couple more times.

I second the thought on the removing the hard tanks and installing some bags. It gives you tons of room for storage. I put 400's in but I'm thinking of going up to 750's this winter to make the surfing better.

Enjoy the new boat.

Enjoy the new boat.750s are nice, but you need a LOT of weight up front with them. Along with the KGB I was running the integrated bow sac and two 350lb sacs in the nose when I had the 750s full, and I felt like it still could have used a little more weight up there.

They are great for surfing though.

That's great. Hopefully I can get the same results here. When I went to Texas Mastercraft in Fort Worth and asked them about braces and left all of my information they never got back with me. I never did try again with them.

Did your dealer say anything about the braces? Like, recall or service bulletin?

Congrats on the boat. It will be a long winter, but misery loves company and you will have plenty of company here.

I feel the pain. When I first got my boat it was late September and it needed some engine work before it was ready for the water. I didn't have all the bugs worked out until early summer.

Dealer just said that yeah, that's a recall. I'll order those in for you and give you a call...I hope it all works out when he orders them...I'll keep you posted.
