Dropped the hammer on the new boat! Went Slider with black rear and gunmetal up front. Went carbon flint and meteor gray inside. Added pro package, underwater lights, 4 tower speakers, heater and heated seats, surf tabs and attitude plate, binimi, midship cleat, standard tower. Opted as well for 6.0 Ilmor. Went with standard trailer/tires with spare. Ill be adding some 3M and aftermarket sacs as well. Boat should be here by Christmas. Can't wait!

All I know is that I only have like a week before I can't make any changes.

What you guys think of black logo over gunmetal? Taking a bit if chance there.

The black may be a lot harder to see than that orange though. :idunno:

Yeah taking a chance however the black does have a white/chrome surround on the letters.

At any rate, as per my dealer, easy fix to change the letters to white.

I think that will be very cool in a subtle kind of way.

There is a pic of the black on gunmetal on a new 25 listed on The Omaha Marine Center's website. Looks alright.

Haven't seen my inside color scheme done yet either. Wanted to avoid the lighter colors as we have little kids that will dirty up white first chance they get.

Yeah, stay away from white. Coming from someone with an all black boat with white vinyl.....worst possible combo to keep clean. Looks great for 10min after cleaning though!
The pic you posted looks rather dark for the main vinyl color. If there's a lighter shade of grey it will still weather the barrage of kid messes well.
My buddy has an X15 with a very light grey vinyl. Sitting in his boat it almost looks white to me.....until I look at mine. It is no where near as hard to keep clean. No discoloration from the black cover resting on the sun pad. Can't see the slight dirty spots in the vinyl grain.

Oh yeah, [email protected] boat, Merry Xmas!

Main vinyl is Carbon Flint. Looks really good. Meteor gray accents, carbon dove badging, and black welt.

This is my happy 30th birthday present to myself as well.

Way to go Nick!! Did you go through MMS in Calgary?

here's is what I did with my interior. I was concerned about staining also, so I stayed away from as much of the white as I could but keep the contrast.

I like it but unfortunately based on my exterior colors there was really no interior contrast color I could do. Where u have the light color seems like high traffic areas. I am happy with the colors and think (hope) it will turn out well.

Congrats on the new purchase :D I too ordered my 2012 X25 from MMS in Edmonton. Mine is scheduled to start production in early January. I too went with Gunmetal flake and black but with Orange accent. The interior is Mocha, with black and orange piping. My wife and I wanted to try something bold in terms of colors as all my other boats have been "safe" color combos. ;)
As far as the Black lettering, IMO the black on gunmetal should look sick. I have seen black lettering on black and that looks sick. Again with the chrome outline, it will still stand out but the dark color may look more menacing :)

By Christmas??? Did you put a rush order on this or something? I ordered my X-25 a few weeks ago from MMS in Calgary and it's not even scheduled to begin construction until early January.

Love the color scheme, btw! 'grats!

Nah, just when they told me my boat was gonna be built. We had dropped our deposit a few weeks ago tho.

Color scheme should work out well, we spent alot of time tinkering on build-a-boat and saw an X45 with same colors except white "mastercraft".
