How does this fit in the bow area?

Anyone have pictures of how it mounts?

There is a plate that sits underneath you bow seats that the cushion sits on. I don't have pics... sorry.

On end sits on the cupholders(so yes you lose those) and the other end has a leg/brace on it. Sorry no pics either.

ha, whoops.

I just searched and found that subbox / bow filler post. Def going to have to build that!

Hopefully the buy who built it still visits the forum. His DIY thread is on another website and the link is dead.

I mocked up a box like that for my boat a couple of winters ago, but never got around to building it. May have to think about revisiting it. I'm not a fan of the stock free air sub. I can't remember what size the box ended up at, but I think it may have been on the small size because I was trying keep the walk thru wind screen functional.

well i dont have a walk through windscreen, just the glass section that folds over.

I need a small box, as im going to run a Sundown Audio SA10, ~.55 cubic feet and 1000watts rms!

Im also not a fan of the free air sub, so i will be building a box to put behind the kick panel, for either an 8" or 10" sub.

I will probably remove the 10" sub in the storage compartment as its jsut takes up way too much room and sounds too muffled with the compartment closed.

I am planning to build a bow filler sub box over the winter. I took some measurements last week, and I think I figured I could get about a 1.5cubic foot box. I plan on putting in a 10 and porting the box.

I sketched up a drawing of how i will have my box.

The plan is to run a sundown audio sa10 on 1000 - 1200 w/rms in 1.25 (after displacement) tunes to 30hz with a aero port 3" diam and 16" long

I plan to use to box to support the back of the bow filler cushion. So I was wondering if anyone could give me measurments on how high the brackets in the back are from the ground, and how thick the plastic (im assuming it's starboard material is) from mastercraft?

Basically:

How high is the top of that plastic support from the ground

how thick is that piece?

And how thick is the cushion?

no one knows how thick that white plate is? Im guessing 1" since the cup holder lip is 1 inch

I plan on porting it so the port fires towards the back of the boat. I am planning to use a solo baric l7 10. I already have a 15 in a sealed box under the observer's seat.
