Budget is $20K max (wife says :o). Needs to have a trailer and perfect pass (not mandatory but highly desired).

[email protected] Living in S. Florida but willing to buy anywhere that shipping won't cost me an arm and a leg.

'05 or newer will work as well but I doubt anyone is gonna let go of their '05 or newer for $20K.

Cheers,
Greg

Owe yes you can! Just missed 3 days ago a 2003 Prostar 197 in Fl. on ebay no reserve with a non-MC trailer. It says bidding went to about 14,700! I assume it sold but no way of really checking. Its winter or close most places now IS the time to buy.

I should of grabed it.

that was a steal of a lifetime.. looks like it had a big stain in the carpet but for that price you can't complain

The 2003 197 on ebay WAS A SCAM! I tried for 3 days to get in touch with the seller but he never replied. I ended up tracking down the previous owner of the boat (I recognized the house in the background of the ebay pics because it just so happened that we had looked at buying that house a month prior). Previous owner sold it to a guy who shipped it to the midwest. The ebay ad had the boat located in Weston, Fl.

2003 mastercraft tournament competition wakeboard ski boat. It's great for both. Mid-engine 6.0 liter gm motor that has had all service with just over 140 hrs. Great interior and exterior. You won't find a better boat on the market that is this nice!!!! Has perfect pass and depth gauge and fat sacks with custom tower and stereo

This one looks good....it has the typical cracking of the upholstery on the pre 04's but otherwise it looks pretty good. For under $20k it's a deal.

Thanks. He actually was willing to sell it to me for $17.5K but I got cold feet because it's been a college ski team's boat for 7yrs and it looked pretty beat up. My guess is that it's been rode pretty hard and not well maintained.

Oh, I thought he had it as his own boat for the past & years but was originally the Miami ski team boat. Still, $17.5 for an 04 197 is a great price even if you have to throw in a few grand...just sayin....
