Never seen one quite like it. Think I'm in love. Just thought I'd share. I'll wait for half of you to puke over it

The new interior looks great. But the dash doesn't look right with it.

He customized it so much...it went from a 1986 to an 85/84

It does look really clean. I like the new interior but $11000??? A little steep

What ever he does it still is an 84/85

I was thinking the same thing. Would have looked better with a different hull color. Kinda looked like someone pulled a perfectly good interior out of a different colored boat and stuck it in that one.

I'll give him an A for originality with the interior although it looks more than a little "pimped out" in my opinion.

Just me, but I like a S&S boat to look original. I had a grey and black (metal flake) 1979 with a grey interior and I loved it. I'm just not loving the tan interior on that boat. Hate the transom stickers. Keep it original.

It was an 86 anyway. So the exterior isn't original either. What it is , is a bad color for the interior choice to go with the exterior choice. If not original maybe just not clashing would be worth something?

Yuck. Not for me. Not an 86' as Jim says.

My retired neighbor has a one owner 78 or 79 S&S sitting in his garage wasting away. He let a friend work on the ignition system and ended up melting the wiring harness and it hasn't seen the water in maybe 10 years. He won't sell it and he really has no interest in getting it running either. I may have to wait until he dies and then buy it when his son sells it for beer and pot money. ;)

At least his son is supporting his hobby :D:D:D

I agree if was an 86...its not anymore.
I respect that it is clean, however it has evolved into a mongloid of a boat.
confused on the color interior as well

It reminds me of building a hot-rod or resto-rod: You put a lot of time and money into them, personalize them to your taste and have your critics along the way, then you end up getting about $.50 on the dollar (if you're lucky) when you try to sell them. You have a limited audience due to the "personalizing".
If the motor runs/looks anything like rest of the boat, someone would be getting a "like-new" MC, just not a traditional one. Price is still high and the name on the back has to go...but I bet it looks sweet on the water.

He said he refurbished the trailer and exterior and customized the interior. That tells me it's a 84-85 and not a 86. If it is an 86, customized to look like an 84,85 he didn't state that. I bet he has the year wrong.

As a previous '83 S&S owner I'm not a huge fan. There are some much better buys out there for $11,000. Also, what's up with the air freshener in the cup holder?

Gotta have the air freshener to get the pot smell out when Weezy gets pulled over. Cmon
