Got a 1987 PS190 and original trailer....buying a 1999 X-Star "project" with no trailer. Anybody KNOW if it will fit well enough on the 190 trailer for a 3.5 hr highway drive? Need to know by end of day monday.

If you help me figure out a way to get it home, I'll promise to post alot of pictures of the progress.......I know you like pictures of boats.......and there's usually lots of hotties......with beer.....and they like boats, and guys that like boats......and whatever else I have to lie about to get it home.....:D

The 190 trailer is not made to handle an X-star but you could probably get away with it. Just keep wart of the drivetrain as you load it... Best of luck

The beam of the '99 X-Star is about 9" wider than the '87 190, so would it even fit between the fenders once it is resting on the bunks? Just something to consider since you are asking. Hope you get her home safe and sound. Yes we want lots of pics too!

Could you borrow/rent a trailer that might fit better?

I measured, and it doesn't look like it'd fit......:(

I'm in CT/NJ area....anybody know if places even rent trailers? I've never heard of that. Unfortunately, I don't know anybody with a 205v/x1 hull.

I saw some used MC trailers for sale on Ebay recently but they were in TN. Don't think the logistics will work for you for Monday but it would be an option if you plan to buy a trailer for the boat. Here's the link to the Ebay post.....

You could contact Lou @ www.offshoremarinenj.com
He is my good friend that owns a boat dealership in Sussex Co. NJ. Tell him Dave W sent you.
Where is the boat and where do you have to tow it to? Is your home in NJ or CT? I am in central NJ near Princeton.

I am in CT, but i work in Newark. The boat is in Wildwood? NJ.

Thanks for the help guys!

I have seen lots of Trailers on www.BoatTrader.com If you can rustle up enough $, i would get an x-star trailer. Then use your techniques on the seller instead of us...hehe :D

Heres an 03 X-star for $2950. It says 2003 and up...But on the Maristar's and X10's the hull was the same from 1998 to 2004 i think...?

Someone here might know if this trailer could be easily modified if it could work... Good luck
