Human Resources Generalist
Vonore, TN

The Human Resources Generalist provides support in the day-to-day operations of the human resources department, as well as the administration of human resources policies, procedures, and programs.  The Human Resources Generalist supports HR practices and objectives that provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Consistently interpret all policies and procedures
• Assume leadership role with Recruitment and Onboarding
• Assist with Training and Development
• Assist with Compensation Planning
• Benefits Administration
• Administration of FMLA
• Assist with Performance Management and Improvement
• Conduct Investigations and support Coaching and Counseling process
• Lead associate relations activities as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications:

• B.S. Degree in Human Resources or a relevant field, preferred
• 2+ years of related experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred
• Experience in Benefit Administration, FMLA and current labor laws
• Experience in staffing to include job postings, recruitment and onboarding
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience using HRIS system a plus
