Roam Board?

Has anyone heard of a Roam Board? I believe it is a brand or type of surf board for wake surfing. This board was recommended to me for wakesurfing behind my X7. I want to get something that most anyone can use to at least ride. Any ideas who sells them and/or any other boards that might work with my boat?

I think it is more of a wakeboard than a wakesurf board.

In the Hyperlite link click on "Gear" then "Flexboards."

I was thinking of borrowing yours but I think my lil X7 wont compare to the wake your monster can throw. Agreed a long board is needed.

Recommendations of brand?? Less expensive is good for me.

jrandol,
We use a 5'6" Hyperlite Broadcast behind my 2003 PS197. Eveyone from 70 lbs to 200 lbs rides. No ballast but, 6 people in back all around 200 lbs each.

Yes, You can throw the rope back into the boat and surf. 11 mph on PP. It is definitely more work than behind a 24' wakeboard boat. We ride and board on two private "lakes". One is an old gravel pit north of Denver and one is an old gravel pit in Pueblo called "Lake Colorado". Both have permanent slalom courses and have 12-15 members.

Groovy thanks! Thats one thing I don't miss about Colorado, the lack of lakes readily available is a bummer. We have been a member of Empire for about 20 years now, sounds like it will be dry in a week or two. Years ago we belonged to a lake called Carlson lake north of Denver.
