Jack trailer off ground?

Does everyone jack their trailer offf the ground for storage. I assume it's a good thing to do. Just curious to hear other views.

I don't, but I'm sure it doesn't hurt to put it up on blocks. I recently read on here that some people reduce the tire pressure from the high 40s (psi) to the low 30s to reduce the strain on the sidewalls.

I always jack my trailer off the ground. I had a few tires blow out in the past year or so and most people I talked to when I was looking for answers said that it's important to a) remove the load off of the tires so they don't develop flat spots b) lower the PSI to 25 ish to ease the strain on the tires c) to store the tires inside if possible since the cold weather on an undriven tire can cause it to weaken prematurely. It takes all of 5 minutes to jack the axle up and set it on jack stands so I figure why not.

jack it up

I have always jacked my up. It saves tires and allows you the trailer suspension to hang. Make sure when you do it you do it safely. Make sure the trailer is level to avoid unbalanced stress.

I jack mine up and rotate the tires. Then when spring comes around I put the tires back on and it' s ready to go.

I figured it was only a matter of time when the subject shifted from "up" to "off". To funny.
