Question WTK: Part # for Alternator Belt on '98 225 VRS LT-1?

Hello All,

Does anyone have a GM or aftermarket part number for the belt on my 1998 Maristar 225 with the 330 hp Indmar LT-1?
The local MC dealer wants $38.50 for one, DIM has one for $29.22 + shipping (much better!).
I figure the local autoparts place has one for considerably less then $40.

thanks in advance,

Frosty

If yours is intact, remove it and take it in to an auto parts store. they can measure it and find a replacement. It's not a car part.

You will spend $38.50 easy on a quality belt at the parts house (not to mention the time you will spend trying to get the guy behind the counter to understand what you are trying to do in order to find the right belt).

You can also buy a $12 belt at the parts house.

Is you engine worth $26.50?

Seems like an easy enough answer to me......................
