Overall opinion: it's good. It has a strong maple flavor, and it smells like maple syrup, but the taste isn't as sweet as the smell suggests. It's still 80 proof. I like drinking whiskey straight, but sometimes it's nice to mix it with something. But I don't know what I'd mix this with. I think if I had a bottle of regular Crown, and Maple Crown, I'd just as soon drink the regular, even straight.

IMO, it's worth trying if you happen to come across a single-serving bottle, or someone who has a bottle, but I wouldn't buy a fifth of it again.

It's Friday in New Delhi and these idiots at the airport lounge don't know how to make a martini. I am settling for a strong screw driver.

This thread is funny. The start-time just keeps creeping up earlier in the week. Sign of the times?? Maybe we just need a thread "It's anyday, time for a drink".

Shades of University of Florida days (many yrs ago)--"Thursday Night--the Unofficial Start of the Weekend." The Kraken (spiced rum) and Co' Cola. Clink!
