It's a night for
Three parts fine joven (silver) tequila, two parts fresh lime juice, 1 part Cointreau. Stirred, poured over ice in a salt-rimmed glass, and enjoyed.

Note that, made this way, a Margarita is roughly 60 proof. Don't plan on drinking it out of one of those humongous glasses that the bar serves you in at happy hour. Well, unless you really want to.

Hey Mikeg, how's it going? Long time no talk.

/frank

Classic margarita Frank. None of that slushy bottled premixed crap. Cheers!

Didn't review a lot of the thread, so sorry if this has been posted prior. I am a Gin drinker (and tequilla and beer as well) anyway, I have discovered a great Gin at a great price. Called New Amsterdam and it is 1/2 the price ($16.99 for a 1.75) of Tangurey. Smooth and less wintergreen taste. I have a friend that says GT's taste like Pine Trees. He tried the NA and doesn't drink them as a first choice, but will drink it. Check it out.

I'm happy to announce that Tyler TX has entered the 20th century. That's right. I bought beer at the grocery store last night.

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.
