Carrying a light stick, you (and 5 thousand others) run up this mountain road, turn around, run down, back to the hotel, to a very large underground parking lot which has been converted into a giant beer garden.
They grow beer up there? Holy sheet.

Good luck on the 8K (5miler for the rest of us ). I've got one scheduled for Thanksgiving morn. Gotta earn the bird, so they say.

Man, you guys are cooking tonight! Just got in from Nevada City CA. Was so lucky to make it over the Sierra mountain to Reno to fly out today, 4ft last week and 9 inches Wednesday. Will fly into Sacramento til spring. I was just taking it easy with the JD in those little bottles flying home, that is one advantage of being Gold ++.

Thanks.. I did it in 55:59, which, considering I'm still somewhat 'tender' from the broken ribs, was better than I expected.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pristine, well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "-- WOW--What a Ride!"

11min/miles - that's downright respectable, Neil. Nice work. How was the weather and the turnout?

Two weeks in a row and not much posting to this thread!

What's going on?

This will mark the last ski weekend for us in Wisconsin . The weather is supposed to be in the high 40's and rain tomorrow and then partly cloudy and in the low 40's on Sunday. We'll probably get a few footin' runs in and then winterize the boat asap.

It's sad that summer up here in the Midwest didn't get real warm and then before we knew it, it was September. Hopefully next summer will be sunny and hot. All that much to look forward to over the winter.

I guess the Holiday decorations will have to start going up next week.

Found one that some may be interested in. Anyone have similar decorations for the Holidays?

Have a good one...
