Looks like if I want to try some approach boots, I better grab them while there's still an HO.

Herb should've called the new co. H3.

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.

Lots of key folks leaving the way I understand it. No more Herb. No more Eddie.

The whole Fischer thing just seems like a lot of hype right now. No skis out there to speak of. I hope they turn out to be awsome but it sure seems like their timing is off since the season has started and still no skis. Also no demo program. What's up with that?

Hey isn't there another company out there with a similar name and similar circumstances?

I have seen pics of Schnitz on a Fischer (on his site) I think there are a few out there now IIRC based on posts on the Nichols site. They sound kinda neat but they are very new to the biz, I wonder if any pros will be skiing on them?

The ones that are out there (Schnitz and some others) are all pre-production models for testing etc. Don't think you will see pros on them this year. They are already well into the season and I don't see the pros switching sticks mid stream.
Fischer definitely has the expertise in carbon fiber and deep pockets.

Many moons ago i skied on Fischer snow skis before going Vokyl. Nice skis, good quality.

I thought the tip was interesting with the holes. Something different and all asthetic I would guess??
