Mystery Piece
Three weks ago I purchased a 2001 Prostar 195 with 37 hours on it. Upon lifting the sundeck pads, there was a small piece of metal maybe 1.5 inches long that was taped to the carpeted panel covering the gas tank. Any ideas??? It looks like a key or a bracket or something of that sort. It is more or less "L" shaped with tabs on it. I suspect it has to do with something on the boat. I can't figure it out...

It sounds like the anchors for the seat bottom when it's being used as a sundeck? Are there similar ones on the bottom of the seat?
Any chance you could post a picture? |

Does it look like this?
This is a deck key for your gas filler cap.

I didn't know my rear seat could be folded up to the sundeck...I will try to post a picture Monday when I get back home. Thanks for the suggestions so far, but it does not resemble the gas cap thing.
