I've seen some discussion of them on the Nicholl's forum. They seem pretty expensive. From all I know they make a good snow ski. Look at Goode. Dave Goode started off making ski poles. Later some well thought of water skis. Saw he was doing snow skis a few years ago.

Goodes hook was that his gear was all carbon. What's Fischer saying makes their ski so much better than what's already on the market?

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.

Dumb question, can you post a link to the Nichols site? I tried to get on that site but even after a google search I couldn't find it

You can demo with Schnitz at Okeeheelee ! It will cost you $100,
which he puts toward any ski you purchase . Just make sure he has the correct sizes & models for you to try out before committing. If you have never skied Okeeheelee you'll be in for a treat , it is Mecca for serious water skiers & warrants a pilgrimage.

Okeeheelee is in West Palm Beach, FL is the $100 for a set with instruction or just for use of the ski???that's a tough area to get to from the northeast...have to start checkin' on some airfare...

everyone has been raving about the D3 Custom X5, gotta just get on one myself...think i've "outgrown" the HO Phantom...

Try http://www.h2osmosis.com @ Trophy Lakes in Charleston, SC. I was able to try a Monza, F1 and D3 there last fall. I left with an early X-Mass present(D3 X5). It was great to be able to test them all at the same time in the same conditions.

André

How is your lac?

Bouy Chaser

You will not find yourself lacking instruction @ Okeeheelee !

Trophy Lakes is not a bad Choice either.

What year Phantom are you on ? I still have my 02 Phantom as a back-up.
