Keep some rags between the front straps and the trailer to keep the trailer from wearing the straps and the straps from wearing away the finish on the trailer. BTDT! Turn your winch around 180 degrees so the handle will be on the same side as the jack and you won't have to climb over the trailer to launch or retrieve the boat, plus it puts less stress on the winch base with the reel closest to the boweye. Just a couple suggestions, notice how the winch is mounted on new boats and boats on trailers in this thread.

Bbeach, your cover looks brand new. Is it, or is it just seldom used. I have a 88PS190 that looks like a twin of yours, but my cover is sun faded and shades of green now. Any clues on how to get a cover as nice as yours?
