1983 S&S
Here is my baby...It is a 1983 Stars & Stripes. It has a Chrysler 440 big block in it. Not much interior room, but it can pull a mean barefoot run! Originally a show boat in Amery, WI. It has been owned by several different people in the midwest, but I think it is a permanent addition to my collection. Pictured here, it is in "wet dock" for a full trailer restoration.

I'll post a before pic of my 1984 S&S Powerslot. She's on her way back together but not ready for a photo shoot yet! She has just over 900 hours on it. My wife actually bought the boat for her college graduation gift in 1998! Our first date was skiing and I married her mostly for her boat in 2000! I'm actually embarassed to say that I sold a boat to pay for her engagement ring (and still owed money) and the brand ryhmed with Bayliner! Now that you all think less of me here are the pics...

Barefoot57, do you have any pics of the interior and the engine? Please tell us a bit more about the boat. Did she originally come with a 440? If not, how did you match up or find exhaust and tranny? What kind of BHP does she have?
