1979 S & S

Here are some pics of mine I picked her up the first of November. I need to replace the bottom gear as the previous owner hit a rock with it. I also want to replace the carpet and clean up the interior.

Looks like that rock didn't give much. Great looking boat. Make sure to replace that rubber fuel line with a steel fuel line so you don't make it go boom.

Thanks, the cell phone camera stinks though.
I had the motor rebuilt after the the boat was sunk in the flood here in Nashville. Had to find a 302 block from the early 70's - bored it and got w. Holman Moody for new parts. So now I have a new 1972 engine

Might be a dumb question, but is it just common sense to replace all rubber fuel lines with a braided line? I'm pretty sure all of mine are original, or at least pretty old. Thanks
