This past Saturday I was very tired of working on the house; the 72' has been sitting for over a month. The engine still needs to be broken in and a new restaurant opened up down river about 15 miles in Ashland City. Boat ran great down and back, lots of waves from folks. As my friend said, I need to trust the boat again; before it was breaking down a lot.
Once back we wanted to take our 6 month old dogs for a ride; they would NOT leave the boat. Rocky was howling.
Glad to have the boat in the toy arsenal again - now to finish the house

That is an awesome shot. I've spent way too much time at the lake feeling exactly like that. Like on the first night of my houseboating trip this spring (and only second trip to the lake of the year). I was so excited to get the boat in the water for a sunset butter run. My driver had other aspirations... she was on her 4th cocktail.

well midwest isnt exactly correct. I am in midwestern Arkansas... Fort Smith . But my lake of choice is Bull Shoals in northern Arkansas /Southern Missouri.
