Thank you. The process of putting our lives back has taken a lot longer. I thought six months at the most. It is now 1.5 yrs later and we still do not have a working kitchen, interior & exterior needs painting...etc. We are getting there and I dont complain anymore, there are still hundreds of families without houses.

Very blessed with the family I have; the boat rebuild had to set my parents back many thousands. This winter I am hoping to replace the gauges (they workk but have mud lines) pull up the floor, replace the steering cable (turns awful) spruce it up. She lives!!!

Just noticed this thread and thought you may like to see a resurection. I skied behind this boat in 1977 when it was new and I purchased it in 1978 with only 65 hours. It now has more than 2000 hours. It was a work horse in tournaments, ski shows and practice and was the main tow boat for the OK Skiers based at Ft. Gibson Lake in northeastern Okla. I was embarrased at the condition I allowed it to get to and last year with the help of my son in law, the Master Painter, we refinished the boat. It looks almost as good as it did when I bought it. When I get an "on the lake pic" I will post it.
wow looks great! where are you located in tulsa?

Godspeed in bringing putting everything back together again.

The steering cable is a simple job and does wonders. When it comes time for the work, pull the rear floor and look at the numbers stamped into the cable to get the proper length. It seems that MC didn't always use the same length cable in all the boats. Probably an availability issue. I got my cable (as well as a new helm) from the guys ay SKIDIM.
