I took 3 throw flotation pillows cut them to the shape of my bottom cushion, recovered it with that same nylon material and still left the straps on it. So i still have my throw cushion readily available. I sit on that and it bumps me up above the window frame.

Sounds like a great way to take care of sitting a little taller, but will the local water enforcement still view that as a certified throwable after you have altered it?

I do have 1 unmodified one inboard too. I have gone through my safety checks by coast guard and sherriff's, but who knows one day I'll get that one guy/girl that wants to jack me up about it. And while they are *****ing at me I'll pull out the stock one that I have under the observers seat.

Here is the 1985 S&S I owned for 24 years before trading this summer. I have noticed very few S&S with 3 colors of gel.

I always look above the windshield too while pulling a skier. For me it is a natural line of sight. Even so you can still see through the windshield

Nice boat. What lake you on there. I like Seeley and Dickey in montana.

That's actually Lake Cushman in Washington. Seeley is about 3 hours from Bozeman, so we don't get out there much. We were there last year and we'll get out there next summer. I've never heard of Dickey! I'll have to look that one up. Around these parts we ski at Ennis Lake, Hauser Lake, and sometimes Canyon Ferry or Harrison. We also have two tournament lakes, but they're a little tricky to get on.
