I had the interior re done last year and it's still holding nice. The box in the back is great. There are generally 3 of us in the boat so it gives us a place to store extra equiptment and ballast! Yes, I wakesurf behind her from time to time. Pretty damn good wake I get!
The new front seat was a huge improvement! I got sick of pulling splinters of fiberglass from mu butt every weekend! I did save the original seat & cover. The new one is nice & cush. It's fully aduustable, 360deg, up & down. I cut down the platform to get the right driving height for me. Got a nice system going, few subs, amps and mids. Some L.E.D. lights for the night ride arouund the lake and some other hidden mods. I am really trying to keep her close to factory but with some mondern day usgrades (restro-mod). This winter..... The original 351w comes out for an teardown & re build (trans also)... 2,237 original hours! I grew up in Michighan skiing small private lakesbehind a boat just like this one. I said that if I could find one, in good shape..... I would buy it! She found me here in Colorado. 2nd and last owner! Last edited by '78 Starz & Stripes; 08-24-2010 at 07:30 PM. Reason: error

That is a really sharp boat geetee, that is the color scheme that my boat is supposed to be, PO painted it and changed the graphics, now I'm trying to decide if I should/could bring it back to its true glory! Same story for me, learned to ski behind a S&S, and grew up going to Cypress Gardens. So when the opportunity came up to buy this boat you can bet there was no way I was going to miss it.
