Haha, I'm sure I'll want to go up in size here in the next couple years. I'll keep you in mind. I'm taking good care of her

I just like international truck motor red! The pleasure craft gray was boring when you opened the hood. I had the motor re-built a couple years ago at 700 hrs and replaced all the exterior bolt-ons while I was at it, all except the coil and that AFB, the PO 15 years ago put it on to try and eliminate an out of the hole bog he was having with a holly, didn't help and i talked him out of the boat, had 230 hr on at the time. Well my first move was to get rid of the points for a electronic unit, and to my surprise while making the switch noted that one of the advance curve springs was missing. replaced with the proper color set and it started running perfect. The boat now has 740 on her, 40 on her new heart. My next mod is to put new exhaust hoses and a new shaft stuffing box. Anyone have recommendations on type/brand?

Yeah. Thought it was brown when I drive 1 hour to see it and went nuts when I realized it was orange. Have never seen another around here. Any idea what the color options were in 1978.

Pretty much blue or red on white was standard but orange and green were options. These were not ridiculously priced boats during Stars & Stripes years. Even in 1982, it was only a $220 upgrade to go to metal flake.

83' S&S doing it!!!!

For all those guys that enjoy a good beer or 10 that complain about the boat, the ski, the weather, the month.....whatever, here is proof that a 30 year old boat and some good old grit will get your 230lb *** out of the water everytime!!! I think I was still hungover at 7am.

(best wake in the business at 30mph)

(Shot ski time!!!! Nevermind our fat asses almost capsized her!!!!)

(Doing werk!!!!)
