66 Plymouth Satellite`

If I had a choice it would be one of these. 66 Plymouth Satellite with a 426 Hemi and 4 speed behind it. Now if only I could find the 200,000 that he is asking for it....

Don't say "ever", just not as quickly as one would expect. but when fuel gets to be $10 Gal, it would pay for itself much quicker.
Look at it this way, you could charge it for 8 hours on one tank of fuel in a generator, and drive 250 miles. So it could be like 125 miles per gallon.... All right, back in dream world....

it only takes 3.5 hours to charge on reg household current.

Jim, this car I'm talking about will smoke your GN. 0-60 in 4sec.

I'd still love to have a GN though.

The Lotus Esprit was much the same. Awesome 0-60 but topped at 130 or so. Electric is cool but still out of reach. This thread was geared more for the Muscle cars of our era until now. Super Duties, Hemi's, Rats and so forth. The things in life that are not the most efficient and environment friendly. I would have to put a current Vette against the electric and re gear to run 130 topped out. The GN had a cutoff I believe at around 125 but could be easily re-geared for much less than the $85,000 orice difference! Post some guzzlers WTRSKIFREEK!
