Liquid Force MP3 Player

I know it is still new but is there anyone that can comment on the Waterproof MP3 Player Liquid Force has in this months issue of WaterSkiMag??

I know $249 is spendy for 512 megs but the concept rocks.

Ipod + waterproof case + attached to vest + set of earplugs... dunno if it'd live through the fall you have as your image though.

How about a sony psp. Now that would be cool playing Tony Hawk while skiing. Or watch a movie. Or listen to music, Ipod what a rip.

That is cool!! OK now I have a dilema.

Which option!?

Has anyone used that IPod case. Shock resitance will be big if you have ever seen me on a foil. SPLAT!

I think shock will depend on where you mount it. The ipod minis and nano have flash memory (no hard drive) And i've never had one skip while riding a mountain bike, or running.

Depending on the headphones and such, i'd try to mount the unit down on the lap belt.. that way it won't get maximum impact, like say on your vest would... But i personally do not have a skyski.

2 things I have read on other boards...

1. The hard plastic cases (like the one above) have been tested and some have leaked

2. Supposedly there have been people who have wiped out while wearing headphones/plugs and had to have them surgically removed.
