Can One Rent a Ski Boat in Florida?

I will be vacationing in the town of Lake Placid (southeast of Tampa and southwest of Orlando), Florida this summer for a few days and will not have a ski boat :-( I will be on a lake called Lake Grassy. Does anyone know if you can rent one and from where? Thx!

Seems to me most rentals are inexpensive fishing/pontoon/ and inboard outboards.

Members of my Ski team have a house on lake grassy! I don't know anything about renting ski boats but I wouldn't mind meeting people out there!

I have never seen a ski boat for rent in Florida. Maybe it has to do with state liability requirements. Around here, all they rent are pontoons....
