My '89 showed 3400 hours when I bought it. Definitely left "on".

Could use some buffing and trailer paint, but looks like a good deal.

Agreed, some buffing and that has the potential to look mint.

I spoke with the owner. He seems like a very nice, straightforward guy. He bought the boat two years ago from a friend who runs a kids summer camp, so he said the high hours were mostly pulling the kids around on a banana boat tube for 10 hours a day. He said the camp has it's own boat mechanic, so mechanically it has been very well maintained and he said the boat still rips, even with that many hours on the clock. That just shows you how long those motors will run if well maintained.

His reason for selling is he just bought a '93 ProStar from the same person that sold him the '91 and couldn't pass up the deal he got to upgrade a bit. Trailer is solid and motor looks pretty clean from the picture. He tried to reflect the high hours in the $4,000 price and I think that price might be negotiable as well. I've posted a few more pictures that he sent me. If it wasn't such a long ride for me, I would at least go take a look at it for that price.

Looks clean - wear actually not so bad for the hours. wonder what the compression is like... still a low price + a possible repower would still be a bargain.. original transmission I assume.
