Beautiful boat but it's too bad it has tower mounts.

That's easy to fix. If I wasn't buying a newer boat, I'd seriously consider this and paying the get the gel touched up. I've seen a lot of those go for $13k+.

Minus the tower feet, yes. That's the high range of course but with similar hours. I keep a spreadsheet for highs, lows and have a column for screamin' deals.

I've seen some with vette engines go for more like $15k. Of course that's the price listed. I don't always know what the negotiated for but always assume about $500 less than list.

You're assuming there's a lot of poor negotiators out there.

Nope. None. Everyone is awesome!

Talking to dealers and sellers (after they've sold a boat) shows -$500 is a reasonable average for the price range I've look at over the past few years ($10k-45k). That's based on boats in good condition (or easily brought to good cond.) and priced below average. Overpriced boats are a whole other story, often selling for 10%+ below list. Still, many boats sell for list price, especially when at a dealer or the colors are in high demand.

That's interesting info. If I ever look into a used boat, I think I'll be contacting you for advice.
