I see closed cooling system - but why would alternator be so corroded... ??
I seen that too, salt water corrosion, rust on the mounting hardware as well

The is the first time I have seen #18 come up anywhere...added to my listing...

But I have to say, after footing behind Johnny's supercharged 35th, a plain old 6.0 liter is like driving a sedan...

I think closed cooling was standard on the Caddy engine. Corrosion like that can occur in high mineral content lakes and/or putting away wet. I think if it was salty you'd see rust stains beneath the exhaust flaps and the running gear would t look near that nice.

I'm drooling over this boat. It's almost pulling back from the ledge on buying a vdrive.

Too much corrosion to result from wet storage, Look at the rust stain on the inside of the belt. I do agree that the exterior doesn't show any salt water use. I'm guessing one salty excursion and a few things got missed in the washdown.
