I feel like I have seen this one before... on Craigslist for sale outside of someones home. Price was very simliar to what is listed now. The boat I am thinking of was near perfect, like the one above in the exact color scheme. I like the name "Brown eyes".. there is certainly something alluring about this boat.

FWIW - I ended up writing a bigger check for a different boating experience and went with 02 x-star.

yes ........Cut out the bad part and work in a new area.... Make sure you get a steal of a deal before taking this on... I suspect you'll need to cut out some flooring to do it properly...

If the hull was rubbing on the bottom the running gear must be toasted. Also, how much water were the engine and transmission exposed to? Could be a lot of $$$ to get running again, even providing your own labor. Could be a steal if the drive train is ok though.
