I wonder what a reasonable offer would be.. Is it an x30? I don't know enough about that year to know for sure

I've got a 2002 X-30 that looks exactly like that. Hull doesn't look bad at all, I think someone will get a great deal on this thing.

I suppose if you aren't paying for it, why keep up on maintenance or, you know, actually take care of the boat. Why even bother covering the boat

Lots of work. Not sure what's worse the engine or the interior. Both are going to be a treat. I think an interior from Viper on this would be about $5K. So add another $5K to the engine and another $2K for misc stuff that comes up and you have a starting point. That is with you doing all the work of replacing the engine and getting back and forth to Viper. I'm thinking the most I would pay would be between $3K - $5K. If it were in Michigan I would put a $3.5K bid in and see what happens.

the trailer is worth something ... I guess I am to a point in my life I don't need any more projects of that magnitude and paying someone else to do the needed work would get up to a price point I could find similar in decent shape.

This looks like a sweet deal on an 83! $4900, 495 hours (190 hours after rebuild), interior in good shape. Really low hours for a boat of that vintage, it seems like. Maybe someone here will pick it up.
