During the auction I had asked a question about the motor and trans. After it closed I got this response below. Seems a little like a scam. Not sure how they would know about bank loan on a Sunday night... But they did attach more pics of the boat. Jamie

and thanks for your interest in my 2002 Mastercraft Prostar 197. The bidding for the boat had ended, but the winner didn’t claim it due to his loan was not approved by the bank. I ended up paying the fees and not selling the boat. The bidding had ended roughly above $ 17,000 but I’m willing to go a bit below that. Since the bank’s dog hounds are knocking at my door to collect the mortgage for the house, I will take into consideration any reasonable offer. The boat has 144 hours, all maintenance work was done at the local dealer. It matches the description, never had been involved in any accidents, there are no scratches or dents, every knob and switch works. Fresh water only. The engine pulls strong, just had an oil change along with filters.If you decide we can make this work, take into consideration that I will only use Ebay to close the deal.
