Unhappy Considering selling my '71 S&S

Hey all,
in the wake of the tragic disaster of losing our home to fire, I'm getting jerked around by the insurance company, and am in dire need of basic living expenses for my family.

Regrettably, the only thing I have of any real value is my beloved '71 S&S, so I am considering selling it. Now it's not show quality, but it runs great.I'm not sure exactly what it's worth. It could use some restoration, but I haven't seen an older one anywhere other than the '68 they have at the factory. I believe the trailer is original too.

At any rate, if anyone here is interested, I'd definitely prefer to sell it to a fellow MC geek so I know it will be going to a good home.

I'm sure I'll regret selling it, but at this point I don't have any other options for keeping a roof over my kids heads...

Thoughts?

Thanks,
Lach

I guess it's already back in the general discussion? I didn't know it was moved.

Wow! Sorry to hear about your situation. Did I miss the details? How did it happen? No injuries I hope. Where in the northeast are you?

Yeah, I made a thread Overton's Coupons and was posting them there. I'm not sure how it ended up in this forum.
