Has KD gone out of Business?

I was going over to the KD site and when I clicked the link
www.kdskis.com it didn't go to KD.

www.kidderskis.com goes there as well

I don't find any KD 2006 model skis.

Anybody heard anything about this?

I'm sure my KD will now shoot up in value, with it not being offered anymre!
Denny Kidder did start KD, right? Then he moved on to D3? It's hard to keep up . . .

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.

does anyone know why, seems like they were very popular skiis. possibly due to the start of d3 skiis. seems like everyone who was on the cr7 switched to the d3, including myself.

They had great representation in Ski Ltd, Bart's and Overton's. Even more so than HO. But, every pro shop I've been in was leary to recomend them. My big guess is they don't/didn't have a wakeboard line, combos, or big fat slalom skis to spread the margins... Niether does Goode, so what do I know...

They did have a shaped slalom. Not a bad ski, espically for bigger guys.

I want to know why the like sends you to Deja vu?

I think that KD acquired Kidder and used that name for the lower end skis and combos.
