Mfunf- it's a 14" lighter duty saw. I bought the riser block for re-sawing but if I need to cut any heavy timbers or anything like that, I would want something else.

I love restoring antique stuff, restoring vintage pieces and reselling, I also have numerous tools of the trade. If I work on old stuff, I use ole tools, new stuff new tools, I like to fit the project to the time period, therapy when I can't be on the water.

After...........it is hard to see the metallic flake sparkly granite, but it surrounds the firebox.

Got one more woodwork project finished last week. I made these for the wifes Kimber TLE-RLII. I used Walnut gunstock (scrap material from a gun stock manufacturer that they sell as firewood). The rubber grips were nice, but sorta boring, so I thought I'd take a stab at some gunsmithing...took me about 10 hours to this stage. I'm going to checker them next...

Nice looking grips M-funf. I really like the plain look with out the checkering. If it were me, I'd keep em that way since there is already checkering on the main spring housing and the fore strap.

shady tree wood worker here. I tried to put myself through college by being a carpenter but that didn't work out. so now I just break stuff so I can fix it and buy new tools!!!
