Brick Hard Wake

I've got a 2002 Prostar 197. I also regularly ski behind an '04 197, a malibu response, natique 206 and a 1998 ski natique. Compared to all these others, my wake is hard as a brick. Does anyone know of a hull/rudder modification that can help? The 2002 tournament team boats had a slightly different hull. Their modification was incorporated into the entire line in 2003. Any suggestions or info would be greatly appreciated.

If you do a search on the old board for "hook," you should be able to find the modification. Sorry I can't be any more specific that that, but I do remember some discussion about it. Good luck.

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.
