Moomba vs. Mastercraft

These guys are trying to say that the Moombas and Supras are built with the same quality as MC, Nautiques, & Bu's. I dont know about the compitition, but MC's quality is a few(or more) steps ahead.

Looks like they are trying to justify why they bought an inferior boat,

I'd wager the engines are probably about the same quality.

My brother-in-law has a supra. I'm not exactly frowning when I'm skiing behind it. It is a seven-year-old boat and, during the two years he's owned it, aprt from his having to repack the shaft, has been trouble free.

I take it all of you fellas have spent a lot of time in and around moombas/supras?

All that said, I am quite satisfied with my ski boat purchase.

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.

Well, I thought the one guy hit it on the head. When after 20-30 years you still see MCs and CCs going for $10k+ that's value. Look at Denny's boat. Show me a Moomba after 25 years.
