Barefoot 200?

Does anyone know what the last year of production was for the Mastercraft Barefoot 200? I am trying to find out the production year that still had the closed bow.

I know the Powerstar took over after that, but did they come in closed bow? So far, I have only seen open bow versions.

If you have any pictures, or find any pictures of the last production year Barefoot 200 please post.

Footin is right...the last year the BF 200 was in production was 1996. The hulls form 1991-1996 were all the same. No changes whatsoever. THe only difference is what brand of motor is hooked to the back. I have a 1994 with a 200hp Yamaha Pro V and love it! Runs like a top. I have seen some other BF 200's with Merc's and I'm sure they're fine, but I have always had good luck with the Yamaha's. BF 200's are great all around boats that are faster than ANY inboard ski boat.....period! Lets see an inboard do 65mph!!

I just sold my 91 BF200 and it was still running great. I owned the boat for eight years and during that time I did nothing but regular maintinance (fuel filter and pulgs).

TScott- who do you think has been making the bigger Merc outboards?

I think 97 may have been the last year they were available, unless they had some motors in stock later. The first dealer I worked for had a '97 with the wrap around 2 piece windshield with the '97 deck, not the faceted corners and the '96 style deck.

if you don't mind me asking, what did you get for the boat? Was that the 91 engine?
