New Prop Recommendations for 99 Sport Star
I am looking for suggestions for a new prop for my 99 MC Sport Star(95-97 Prostar hull) with TBI 350 1:1 with Perfect Pass. I mostly use the boat for course skiing, but occasionally barefoot, and plan to get wakeboarding next year. I currently have a three blade 13x13 OJ, which I plan to keep as a spare.
Thanks, Jamie

VTJC,
Call Jim Thelen at ACME (1-888-661-2263) and do the prop interview. He'll ask you a bunch of pointed questions to find out what you're after and he'll recommend a prop. Once you get the info from Jim email Schintz and see what kind of a deal he can get you. Most of the time he's got the best price. Good luck. I went from a 13 x 13 OJ 4 blade to a 13 x 12.65 Acme 3 blade and am very happy with the performance. I've got a 350 Hp LT1 with a 1:1 transmission |

I'll put in a late vote for the Acme. Some of the best money I've spent on the boat (have I said that before)?

My friend's looking for spare prop for 97 205
He has the standard 13x13 3 bladed prop. He's considering a 4 bladed prop. What size 4 bladed prop should he get. He wakeboards and barefoots. He has 275 HP engine with 1:1 xmsn.
thanks

If he's sold on a 4 blade, and isn't going with an acme 4 blade, then 13x13. For a CNC finished prop, the pitch could be lower. My father in law has a 13x13 4 blade oj on his 98 PS 205 with TBI (308 hp) engine and a 1:1.
