Tower on 197
I am looking at ordering a 197 new.
Question: does anyone know if I order a mini tower, does it use the same base as the standard tower, if we want a taller tower later or will I need to drill new holes?

Ric-i have a 02 197 with the zero flex. go with this one! i have used a 197 with the mini tower and speakers. i'm a midget and i still kept hitting my schreck head! Just my 2 cents!-Tex

I guess I will go with the larger and maybe wait til later to get one. That mini tower is a good looking combo on that boat but I'm 6'1 and will definitely hit my head on it many many times (especially after a bad set!)

Ric,
You are correct. I too am 6'1 and have the mini-tower. I went this route because I liked the look of the 197 with mini tower. You learn to not hit your head only after you knock your head several times.
