I have to say that I'd prefer not to be reminded every 2 minutes with Alan Kackson songs and every news channel running the same images over and over. I've seen it, OK. Too many times. It's not like I'm gonna forget and you're not acheiving anything except maybe boosting your ratings or selling another cd, and therefore, profiting off other people's pain and suffering.

Nobody's forgotten. Stop reminding us.

Buddy of mine is flying across the country tomorrow... figures it's about the safest day to travel...
2002 MariStar 210 VRS 330hp, Tower, Perfect Pass Stargazer, Bimini, Triple KGB Ballast, 400w Clarion XMD3, Bennett X-14 Wake Plate, 1000+ hours and still running great!

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pristine, well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "-- WOW--What a Ride!"

Unfortunately - I think that some have "forgotten".... or - at least - they've forgotten who did this (I say this, because that act has changed the way we live starting 9/12 until we die) to us.

I am whole-heartedly in support of all the Alan Jackson, Charlie Daniels songs, rememberences, etc.

When we forget - we'll start letting those [email protected] who we haven't gotten yet get away with it. When I say those [email protected] - I'm talking about everyone who supports the Talliban (sp?). Not necessarily any certain kind of people - or even the people who don't like us - just the ones who want to KILL us!
[soapbox off]

If one day you're asked:
" How did you spend your time here on Earth?"
Will you say:
"I kept a crabgrass free lawn"
It's time to SKI.

When we forget we unconsciously let our guard down. We cannot let our guard down when dealing with terrorists!
If my words don't make sense, try reading them backwards.

Well, I watched the A&E version on Saturday afternoon. I was trying to watch the Tarheels, but gawd they suck. A&E's was very tasteful - a collection of documentaries, with most of the coverage about the people of NYC and their strength, their voice and their communion. Admitedly, there was a lot of "dust" and "allergy" problems for me during the show. I think the hardest thing to watch was a group of strangers, in the street just outside Ground Zero, mixed in a way only NY could produce, encircled, holding hands and singing "Amazing Grace". It was incredible to watch people joined together, peacefully, like that. You could tell there wasn't any hatred - just sadness and disappointment.

I'm glad I watched it.
