Height of boat with tower
What height should a garage door be in order to allow a trailered boat with a tower to clear?

Depends on the boat and the trailer. With the tower up, my MariStar on the tandem trailer needs ten feet.

I cant set up my pylon extension inside my gargage so unless you have 12foot ceilings in your garage good luck, Most towers these days fold down or come off really easy.

If you're thinking 209, check the old board. NSXBill did some heavy research on this topic. I remember pictures and clearance numbers.

Thanks everyone for the input. Plans for a lake house include a 14 ft. high garage. I don't have a tower currently but I'm looking ahead. Sounds like a 12 ft. high door would allow for a boat with a tower.
