You're lucky on that one as the lock pin just keeps the silver tongue from popping out of position (if I understand the part that is broken correctly). Either way if all you were doing was moving the boat off the ramp you should have been OK. I just wouldn't plan on moving it much further than that.

As others have stated your next move should be to convert to the UFP actuator as most of us will eventually will have to do.
