Floating on a Thursday night. Doesn't get much better.

Love the white LEDs! Didn't know you could change the color. May change my red to blue if I can. I was out on Harris tonight and it was pretty great!

Jordan Lake

Great day out there...saw a few MCs (205, 190, X-Star). The guy with the 98 apparently has a submerged course that is includes all buoys, he just uses an air compressor to raise it up. Didn't get a location though and he didn't seem willing to offer it :-)

Spent the morning teaching a seven-year-old and four-year-old how to ski, then we went back to the party cove and swam for a little while. Trying to get out of the cove by the mouth of the river I swamped the bow three times. This lake just gets nuts!

Looking good. At least I think so. Put about 8 hours on in the last two days. If it would stop raining we will get a few more before we have to head out.

Curious. Where do you all typically launch from and where do you ski? Relatively new to the area. I launched from crosswinds a bunch last year, and am slowly learning my way around Jordan and the safe/sketchy spots. Lake time has been limited this year due to a newborn, but am hoping to get out next weekend. Teal '88 prostar.
Cheers.
Anthony

Welcome to the area. I put in at either Seaforth or Ebenezer. Ebenezer is free before 8am so if I'm going out early Saturday that's where I go. Crosswinds is expensive but it is convenient to meet friends there since there is free parking...until it fills up.

Even though I've lived here and skied on the lake a lot I usually go up the river past the dam to ski, or under the Ebenezer bridge back behind all the "sticks". There are two courses there they are trying to fix up and get ready, and I heard of another submerged course this weekend from a guy. Here's a little map: http://cl.ly/image/3w3x3G36021f

Would love to try to get some MC's together at Jordan instead of that mudhole Falls Lake
