Thanks cwarndahl. I don't have a good feeling about the amount of time it will take to repair it. I hope to hear good news on Tuesday.

My buddy has a 2006 tige. His hydro locked last year. He said it had to do with a faulty manifold gasket. Good news for him was no major problems. It was out of warranty but I think he only had like $300 in the repair.

That would be GREAT. It sounded pretty normal and I didn't hear any big "clunks" or sounds so hopefully it will be that easy.

The repair shop told him that it was good that he didn't push it to get it running again because that would likely have lead to major problems.

It could be a quick fix. Maybe back on the water by Friday!

No news today. I was told they were talking to Ilmor early in the day and I didn't get a call about it today. I will have to check on Wednesday morning to see what the timeline for a fix is going to be. The fact that I didn't hear back isn't so good.

Definitely a first world problem here and I am not stressing about it. Hope to hear from the dealer soon.

They aren't sure what caused. They had it running today in the shop then took it on the lake and it overheated. So, no real news actually.
