we bought the car new in 11 and still have not used up the original brake pads. we pull the boat to lakes in arkansas, lakes in louisiana, and lake texoma without a problem. the new RRS is v6 turbo making less HP than our current RRS. we are going on 35k miles without a problem, contrary to popular belief

not a car expert, but I have had two neighbors that have owned them and they spent more time in the repair shop than they did on the road. my old neighbor todd graham, now head football coach at asu had one as a perk of being head coach here in town and it was rare to see him drive the same one more than a month at a time.

with that being said I have had 3 adblue issues with my touareg! all have been taken care of by the dealer and still love the mpg's and towing cap!

I looked for a slightly used one at the time, called tulsa, dallas, OKC, Shreveport, a few others, and nothing to be had. My family has owned a few with had mixed reviews; I gave it a shot and no problems. They seem to be well built and safe cars.

I hear horror stories all the time. that being said, I will not own one unless it is under warranty. I have about 15k miles until mine is out of warranty and I will either get a new one or get an updated warranty. We give ours hell and it has never had a problem.
