2000 mastercraft xstar speed control

I have recently purchased a 2000 xstar and I can't figure out the speed control.. it has a toggle switch to turn it on and a foot pedal to activate it and a speed + and - but no kind of gauge.. someone said the thought it was an accuski... Not sure how to use it as and it's not in my manual... does anyone have any info on this?

I'll give this a bump because the boat I am buying seems to have the same set up, and I would like to hear a little more about it. Anyone hear of a system like this?

Mine is the exact same. I'll try to get some more info and maybe a picture.

It looks like we might be on our own here. I can't believe nobody else has any experience with these. I have taken my new boat out a couple times now and messed with my speed control a little last time. I turned on the toggle switch and when I got to my desired speed, I pressed the foot pedal. It seemed to hold speed, but that could have just been due to the smooth water and how the boat it. I really don't know if it was the speed control or not as I didn't have much real estate in the smooth water. It did beep loudly at me the whole time which I assume isn't normal. I'll mess with it again today to see if I can get any different results. Have you tried yours again?

For what it's worth my 2000 has that same rocker switch that says "Speed Control" and there's nothing connected to the terminals on the rear. It was never equipped with that feature. Apparently they put the switch into every boat regardless. I definitely don't have the foot pedal though.

I've done the same thing and sometimes it seems to hold speed and sometimes it doesn't
